The dealer is offering 33% off some trucks. Is this NP with a 5.7 litre? Is it CP as it’s an FCA product? The world may never know. At least it’s on brand with my style.

If it is brand new, and those are Canadian dollery-doos, it’s a pretty good price. So good I would consider getting it to match my FoS T and begin my descent into Guy Fieri-ism

Ain’t CP if there’s a warranty

I think Ram typically has the highest quality ratings for FCA? In any event, it’s very yellow.

Well it’s his third ram (All the same generation), he loves it and thinks he’ll be in it for the long term. He wanted to upgrade from his ‘15 reg cab for future baby.

The only trucks with poor resale value in the US are Rams. Paying $40k for a new one seems like a CP for me. As someone who is currently elbow deep in a Chrysler vehicle, no way in hell I’d ever pay over $20k for one, new or used. These assholes source the cheapest parts known to man to build their vehicles.

Seems a tad expensive for a 1500.

Okay, $31,000 US is a good price.

You also bought the best re-sale value holding vehicle FCA has. And I think in the 5-20 old range the best one period.

When I was selling new vehicles it wasn’t uncommon for Ram trucks to sell for 8-10k under MSRP I’d say it’s a decent deal but it either needs to get sweeter, or hold out for a better deal on a 2020.

Our 2018 is now at 76k miles and has had zero issues. It’s much better put together than our 2019 Silverado.

Yeah, the resale on these is crazy. I was lucky enough to find an older bare bones model with a manual and low miles, so my initial buy in wasn’t too bad.
These things were priced perfect when you could get a stripper model for $25k. I couldn’t imagine paying over $30k for one.

That is basically the sam as my 2015 ram and i love it, that 5.7 hemi is fantastic when paired wit the 8 speed auto, and it returns better mileage than my brothers 2020 tacoma trd off-road, just be sure its a crew cab and not a quad cab, quad cab is much smaller in the back seat area.

Do it! Just picked up a 2017 Hemi Sport myself some months back, with 173k kms (has 189k now). These things are solid and are a lot of fun. Very much recommended.
